Applying for a berth
Members apply for a berth with a separate form.
Mooring practice
The boat is moored to the dock with two lines. The mooring lines must have proper, correctly fitted shock absorbers. The boat is secured to two stern buoys and the mooring lines are recommended to be crossed. The boat must carry fenders as required by the inspection rules.
Shore power cables must not be left permanently connected to the mains. When a boat in the water is connected to the mains, earth leakage current may occur in the boat's electrical equipment. This leakage current may corrode the metal parts of your own and/or a neighbouring boat. Keep your boat's electrical equipment in perfect condition and keep the shore power cable connected for as short a time as possible.
The boat's name must be readable from the dock. Dinghies and tenders must carry identification (sail number, name or owner's name; for a tender the keelboat's name is also acceptable).
Tenders and dinghies are stored ashore in a place designated by the club. An inflatable dinghy may be kept behind the boat with at least its bow lifted onto the transom, without an outboard motor or oars, provided it does not obstruct the movement of other boats. Otherwise a tender may not be kept behind the boat. The dock gates must always be kept locked.
